When thinking of our fondest memories in school, many of these moments that we remember were when we were actively engaged. In elementary school, I fondly remember playing thrilling games of “Capture the Flag” in gym class or taking part in competitive review games to help study for upcoming exams.
The Lü Interactive Playground can help engage students while having them practice essential skills. Learners still have the opportunity to experience these fun and active moments while staying active with Lü!
What is Lü?
Lü is an all-in-one interactive playground that promotes physical activity and collaboration in the classroom. Complete with a projector, movement tracker, and audio system, Lü can be set up in any space and is automatically ready for action. Lü uses technology to engage students of all ages and skill levels. Even those who are hesitant to join traditional sports or participate in physical education classes will love Lü.
When choosing Lü for your school or educational program, there are now three options to select from: Üno (single-wall configuration), Düo (permanent double-wall configuration), and the newest model, Möve Mobile (transportable solution). With these three options, Lü can be used in any setting where there is a wall and space for students to move around as they interact and engage in engaging activities.
Educators at Allen W. Roberts Elementary School were introduced to the Lü Interactive Playground and were blown away by the effect it had on students.
How can students play?
There is a wide variety of games and activities to explore while using the Lü. Many of them encourage students to focus on physical and mental steps to reach their objective. Recently. I had the opportunity to tinker with some of Lü’s immersive experiences and they immediately captured my attention. I was able to practice math problems while honing in on my competitive skills!
Lü has a menu of options to choose from right before you start playing the games. This includes choosing between competitive vs training mode, selecting how many teams you want, point values, time limits, and more. For students who love traditional sports, Lü offers options such as basketball, soccer, football, etc., which really motivates students of all skill levels to practice, and test out their abilities while staying active.

3 essential skills that students strengthen while using Lü:
Now that we have discussed Lü’s features, how can it help supplement instruction in the classroom? Lü strives to strengthen students’ physical activity and other various skills within students such as:
- Cooperation: Students have to work together to get to a common objective. This helps students collaborate whether it is friendly competition or getting to the end goal.
- Time management: When students are timed to complete a task, they are able to have a sense of urgency to complete their goal. They are able to manage their skills at a fast rate, which helps them complete timed activities in the classroom.
- Physical activity: Students can stay active while learning with Lü! With all of the activities and games Lü has to offer, students will always remain engaged both physically and mentally. No matter what subject, Lü has a library that is constantly updated and added to, meaning there are options for everyone. Teachers can plan their lessons with ease, knowing that they can seamlessly integrate Lü and keep their students active.

The Lü community
Lü has a community page that users can sign up for to access plenty of resources from other members. While exploring the community page, I found an engaging game called “States and Capitals.” Students are to answer questions such as “What is the capital of Texas?” or “Jackson is the capital of what state?” while being timed. Students must think on their feet to answer questions correctly while trying to beat the clock!.
Another game called “Life Cycle of a Butterfly” involved having students remembering all of the stages of a butterfly. Students have to arrange the order correctly before time is up! All of these have interactive aspects that get students up and moving while learning.
